Mini projects undertaken: |
1. Wired remote controlled robot:
Brief description:
A simple remote controlled robot to control its movement in all directions. It works on the principle of beetle bots. Two SPDT switches have been used to move the robot in all directions. Main advantage of this robot car is simple design and low cost.
Requirements: Two DC motors, battery, 2 SPDT switches and a Castor wheel.
2. Over head water tank alarm system:
Brief description:
A cost effective alarm system is used to indicate the water level in the over head tank. A small ball and a conducting metal forms a closed loop when the water level inside the tank raises and lifts the floating ball. So the connection between two conductors is established and an alarm signal is obtained to indicate the water level. As soon as water level is reduced the system returns to its initial state.
Requirements: One Buzzer, Battery, small plastic ball, 555 timer and a switch.
